GAP YEAR STUDENT

CCA needs someone who is energetic, detail-oriented, and a customer service dynamo to be our 'Wrangler of Mayhem'!

Admin & Operations

  • Meeting and greeting students and parents
  • Manage the CCA phone - sparkling customer service
  • Monitor CCA inbox
  • Follow-up absences
  • Assistance with database management
  • Clean tables/whiteboards, dishes, and general admin as needed
  • Assist with lesson prep and photocopying
  • Assist with newsletter
  • Stocktake of storeroom and merchandise

Social Media Planning and Execution

  • Reels shooting and editing
  • Stories posting and interactive polls
  • Canva creation

Ad Hoc Tasks

  • Assistance with events - Parent Seminars, Sound Squad events, etc.
  • As 2027 projects develop, assistance as needed
  • Family support - transport, etc. (Driver's License required)

Days/Hours

  • Monday-Thursday (3-6pm).  NOTE: events occur outside of these hours that we would need support with (we'd give plenty of notice)
  • Hours have the possibility of changing (i.e., increasing tasks for a capable gap year student)

Must Haves

  • Positive attitude
  • Excellent communication skills (in-person, writing, and on phone)
  • Enthusiasm and vibe befitting CCA
  • Valid Working with Children Check
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Initiative and attention to detail
  • Customer service oriented
  • A genuine care factor for our small business
  • General computer/tech skills

Nice to Haves

  • Social media/editing skills, an eye for trends, an interest in marketing
  • Good design/aesthetic taste

TEACHERS

We are seeking:

  • High School English Teacher

We are seeking Rockstar Educators who love their subject and are passionate about working with students.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Teaching qualifications
  • A track record in lifting student results
  • Ability to develop instant rapport with students
  • Expert level knowledge in their subject area
  • X-Factor that students respect, wish to work hard for and find engaging

You will teach small group sessions on one or multiple afternoons per week at a generous remuneration package. Sessions take place in person at CCA HQ in beautiful Orange, NSW.
